ROOM CURRENCIES

Room Currencies allow yous to create your ain currencies and reward them to players for gratis or for purchase. You can use them to reward players for visiting your room or playing your game, and y'all can lock items with keys that can exist unlocked by using your room currencies.

HOW TO USE THEM

Creating a Currency

Create a Room Currency by going to the scout card > Most This Room > Settings > Currencies tab and click on 'Add together CURRENCY'. Type in the name, description, daily limit, and currency package.

Daily Limits

Each currency needs a daily limit to prevent players from exploiting the arrangement. The daily limit restricts the amount that a player can be awarded through the Add Currency chip each solar day. This means that if a histrion earns 500 currency with a daily limit of 400, they'll only receive 400 for that day. Daily limits reset at Midnight UTC. The daily limit does NOT affect how much currency a player can purchase through the currency store.

Setting an advisable currency limit can prevent players from exploiting the systems you build. A skillful rule of thumb is to set the daily limit slightly college than the corporeality most players would be able to earn. For example, suppose you lot have a game where players are awarded 200 currency later every two-minute circular. Even if a player were to play your room non-finish for 24 hours that would translate to only 144,000. Setting that as the daily limit would mean no thespian should ever run into information technology normally, just if a thespian figured out how to exploit your game they wouldn't be able to earn more than that each twenty-four hour period.

Any keys that y'all create can exist configured to accept either room currency or tokens. For this example, we'll create a key for a costume. You can create them in the room settings page or by configuring the costume and selecting 'Create Cardinal'.

Once you lot've created the key, you'll want to configure the costume to be locked by that primal and make sure the currency is set to LaserTagBucks (not Tokens). That's information technology! Players will now exist prompted to purchase the costume when trying to equip.
